Sweet recipes without flour and sugar
Content
Regularly consuming sweet pastries or cakes high in sugar has a negative impact on the body. And when you consider the large amounts of flour used in many baked goods, along with creams, you're forced to either seek out lighter desserts or buy clothes a size larger each year.
After flipping through a few healthy eating books and a couple of dietetics websites, you can find a plethora of light dessert recipes with photos and instructions. You can organize the recipes by ingredients: fruit-based, curd-based, dried fruit-based, and so on, and choose flour-free ones.
Fruit desserts
These desserts can be made in large quantities, and with your imagination, you can create your own dishes using seasonal fruits and no added sugar. They're very light, healthy, and can be enjoyed in large quantities without any harm to your health.
Fruit Rainbow Recipe
- 1 ripe melon
- 1 bunch of blue grapes
- 1 green apple
- 1 red nectarine
- 1 orange
The melon should be cut into two equal halves and the seeds removed. Carefully scoop out the flesh in large chunks with a spoon, being careful not to damage the rind.
Cut all the fruit and melon parts into medium-sized pieces (the shape and size can be adjusted as desired), and separate the grapes from the bunch. Mix everything together and carefully place it in the melon, adding a spoonful of honey if desired. Garnish with a sprig of mint. This summer recipe allows you to enjoy fruit, get vitamins, and, best of all, it's sugar-free.
For those who enjoy cooking with heat, there are also several delicious recipes. Some are summer-friendly, prepared by refrigeration or freezing, while others are all-season, using oven-baked ingredients.
Strawberry Raspberry Sherbet Recipe
- raspberry
- strawberry
- apple juice
- berries and mint for decoration
The quantities of ingredients can be adjusted as desired. To enhance the raspberry flavor, increase the proportions of raspberries, and conversely, add more strawberries. Place all ingredients (except the berries and mint for garnish) in a blender and puree until smooth. Place the mixture in a container and freeze. Stir the frozen sorbet every 20 minutes. This process should continue for 4 hours.
Remove from the refrigerator 20 minutes before serving, stir again, and crush with a spoon if necessary. Transfer to an ice cream maker and garnish. If the sorbet seems a bit tart, drizzle with agave syrup or liquid honey—these are excellent sugar substitutes and are often used in confectionery.
Curd desserts
Much has been said about the health benefits of fermented milk products, and cottage cheese is no exception. Desserts made from this product can be served not only as a sweet treat for dinner but also as a full breakfast. Many cooks make cottage cheese pie with flour, but this ingredient can easily be omitted.
Curd cheesecake recipe
- 300 g of cottage cheese

Blend the cottage cheese until smooth (no lumps). Soak the gelatin for 15 minutes beforehand. Mix the cottage cheese, 2 teaspoons of honey, and gelatin until it reaches the consistency of thick sour cream. Place the mixture in a greased mold and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Make the berry sauce. Blend fresh or frozen berries in a blender and add honey to taste. Before serving, remove the cheesecake from the pan and drizzle with the berry sauce. This flourless, sugar-free cake is perfect for breakfast or a simple tea party.
Dried fruit sweets
