This grated banana and apple dessert is a delicious feast for the senses! Minimal dough and maximum delicate filling, minimal prep time and maximum deliciousness—this simple grated pie.

For this wonderful dessert you will need quite ordinary products:

  • butter - 100 g
  • wheat flour - 180 g
  • granulated sugar - 75 g
  • salt - 1/3 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • sour apples (green) - 2 pcs (medium)
  • yellow bananas (ripe) - 2 pcs.

First, mix the butter with the sifted flour and knead it with your hands. Large lumps should be thoroughly rubbed between your fingers until fine crumbs form. To make the dough process quicker and easier, the butter should be cold and firm.

When the crumble is ready, add cinnamon, salt, and sugar. Then mix everything again.

Prepare a baking sheet by greasing it. Place half of the crumb mixture in the bottom of the pan, then add the finely chopped fruit. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top, then press the top lightly with a spatula.

Place the pan with the mixture in a hot oven. Baking should take no more than 35 minutes. The top of the pie should be golden brown; if not, bake for another 5-8 minutes.

Grated banana pie will turn out surprisingly soft and moist.

  • wheat flour - 350 g
  • chicken eggs - 4 pcs (large)
  • butter - 200 g
  • sugar - 280 g
  • baking powder - 1 packet
  • cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
  • sour green apples - 4 pcs
  • ripe yellow banana - 1 pc.

Beat soft butter with sugar and add 4 eggs. Add well-sifted flour in 3 batches, stirring constantly. Add baking powder and cinnamon to the finished dough. The resulting dough should be slightly thicker than pancake batter.

Place half the dough into a greased deep pan, then add the chopped fruit. Pour the remaining dough over the filling.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180˚ for 50-55 minutes.
