Chocolate covered strawberries

This is one way to spend a pleasant evening with dessert fondue.

Melt the chocolate and cinnamon in a fondue pot, add the grated orange zest and toasted chopped peanuts. Choose large, ripe strawberries, rinse and dry them. Arrange them beautifully on a plate and serve with the chocolate fondue.

If you don't have a fondue pot, you can use a thermal mug or simply pour chocolate sauce prepared in a saucepan over the strawberry dish. Using dessert forks or skewers, you can pick up the strawberries from the dish without getting dirty.

Strawberry and banana roll

A dessert roll without strawberries would be boring and lacking in flavor. But with strawberries, the sweet log will take on a festive flavor and lift the spirits of any gathering.

Recipe:

  • Eggs 5 pcs.
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Baking soda and vinegar, half a teaspoon.

Method of preparation:

To do this, take a clean, damp (not dripping) towel and fold over the edges of the sponge cake. Continue rolling the sponge cake very carefully until you have a log. Let the dough rest like this for 2-3 minutes.

After this procedure, release the towel and allow the sheet to straighten out. Now you can begin filling the sponge cake.

Coat the sheet with condensed milk, arrange the strawberries and banana slices beautifully, top with heavy cream, soufflé, condensed milk, and butter, or custard (you can use egg white), and repeat the rolling process. Once you've memorized the shape of the tube, the dough won't be stubborn, and the sponge cake can easily be rolled into a strawberry-banana log.

To prevent the sheet from straightening out, let the roll rest under a towel for a few minutes. Place the finished dessert seam-side down.

Strawberry snakes

If you have at hand:

  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs (you need the yolks)
  • Water 100 ml
  • Flour 60g
  • Heavy cream (at least 30%) 100 ml
  • A tablespoon of sugar
  • Butter 40g
  • Strawberry

Then you can prepare a beautiful holiday dish that will delight dessert lovers of all ages. Strawberry snakes will be a perfect addition to your holiday table.

Mix the butter with sugar, salt, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil in a saucepan. As soon as the mixture begins to boil, carefully pour in the sifted flour and stir constantly. As it heats, the dough will begin to thicken and pull away from the sides of the saucepan. At this point, add the yolks, one at a time. If the dough seems too thick after removing it from the heat and whisking in the yolks, you can add another yolk.

Now our dough is ready to bake. Place several curved sausage shapes on a baking sheet in a preheated oven. These will be the bodies of your snakes, which will be ready in 15 minutes.

After the finished snake pastries have cooled, they can be spread with cream or condensed milk and decorated with thinly sliced ​​strawberries. It's best to make the snake's head from half a strawberry, as this will give it a three-dimensional appearance. Eyes can be made from confetti, chocolate, cream, or other berries (blueberries, blackberries).

Strawberry smoothie

A smoothie is a pleasant fruity drink that's refreshing on a summer day and a mood-lifting winter evening. All you need is imagination, a blender, strawberries, and a few spices, which you can choose to taste or omit altogether.

Strawberry desserts are often flavored with banana. This combination has long been a "love couple" in many recipes. But strawberries are also delicious with black berries, mint, cinnamon, or chocolate (cocoa). Of course, cream is a must, too—what would it be without it?

Using a blender, grinder, or mixer, beat the strawberries with sugar. You can add the white of one raw egg. This will make the smoothie more viscous and add a thick foam to the cocktail.
