  4. Turn the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake the quince for about half an hour. It should be golden brown. Then, without turning off the oven, turn the halves over and bake for another 15 minutes. They should be soft when done.
  5. After this, we take out the dessert and let it cool a little.

Light fruit and vegetable cream with quince

Light quince cream

Ingredients

  • Quince – 1 pc.
  • Apple (ripe, but not overripe) - 1 pc.
  • Pumpkin (sweet variety) - 250 gr.
  • Yogurt or non-acidic kefir - 150 ml.

Recipe for making cream:

  1. Peel and core the fruit, and peel the pumpkin (a 250g piece means it's seedless, but if you're cutting a whole pumpkin, you'll need to core it too). Cut into pieces approximately 3 x 3 cm.
  2. Place the chopped ingredients on a foil-lined baking sheet, leaving a little extra on the sides to form small edges. Cover with a second piece of foil.
  3. Place the baking sheet in the oven and set the oven temperature to 190 degrees Celsius. Bake for about 20 minutes. Check for tenderness; if the pieces are still firm, bake for another 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove and cool the pieces slightly, then throw them into a blender and blend. Carefully add the yogurt or kefir—you want the cream to be the consistency of heavy cream.

If you find the cream isn't sweet enough, you can add a little honey to taste or sweeten it with vanilla sugar. This cream recipe is perfect for light breakfasts for kids and adults!
