If you don't have much free time, you can make a simple banana pie. The main thing is that this dessert is simple to prepare, but the taste... the taste is full of fruity tones and spicy notes.
Tropical Beach Pie
It got its interesting name from the combination of shortcrust pastry and tropical flavor. Incidentally, the shortcrust pastry recipe is very easy to make and takes no more than 10 minutes.
So, for the banana shortbread pie you will need:
- frozen butter - 100 g
- sifted wheat flour - 185 g
- salt - a small pinch
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 tbsp
- ripe bananas - 3 pcs
- juice of half a lemon
Chop the frozen butter into pieces and place in a deep bowl. Add the flour and salt, as directed. Using your hands, rub the butter and flour into flakes. Once the crumbs are very fine, add the cinnamon and sugar. Stir the mixture thoroughly and place it on a shelf in the refrigerator.
While the dough is resting on the counter, prepare the tropical fruits. Slice them into thin rings and drizzle with lemon juice.
Grease a baking pan with butter or margarine. Pour half the mixture into it. Use a spoon to firmly press the batter into the pan and arrange half the bananas on top. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top, then arrange the remaining fruit on top.
Place the dough in a hot oven and bake for 34-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
"Grandma's" Banana Pie with Kefir
A delicious and fluffy kefir pie is a wonderful dessert to pair with tea or morning coffee. This simple recipe is based on traditional fruit pies, so to speak, made by grandma. But the tropical flavor gives it a unique twist.
- chicken egg - 1 pc.
- low-fat kefir - 200 ml
- sifted wheat flour - 2 tbsp
- baking powder - 1 packet
- sugar - 180 g
- a pinch of salt
- ripe bananas - 3 pcs
- butter - 60 g
Grate the well-chilled butter until flakes form. Add the egg, beaten until light and fluffy, then add salt and sugar. Beat well, or use a mixer. Add the mashed butter and mix again. Sift the baking powder into the flour and fold into the mixture. Then whisk in the kefir, gradually.
Grease a baking sheet with shortening (you can use margarine) or line it with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the pan and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) until golden brown. The recipe usually calls for 30 minutes, but if your oven is at a lower temperature, you can extend the baking time.
Airy banana pie
This recipe suggests making a pie with a shortcrust pastry base and using airy cream.
- butter - 100 g
- eggs - 3 pcs
- flour - 3 tbsp
- sugar - 150 g
- sour cream - 200 ml
- bananas - 3 pcs
Prepare shortcrust pastry by mixing the egg yolks with half the sugar, butter, and sifted flour. Knead thoroughly and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased pan, making sure to create a rim to prevent the filling from spilling out. Add the fruit and top with whipped cream mixed with sugar. Bake the pie for half an hour at 180 degrees Celsius. Then beat the egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form and pour them over the finished pie. Bake for a few more minutes. Decorate with nut flakes, coconut, or chocolate shavings.
This recipe helps you prepare a delicious, original, and very aesthetically pleasing banana dessert in just an hour. It pairs perfectly with any hot or cold beverage. This wonderful dessert is sure to be appreciated and loved by all sweet tooths, and even gourmets.
