Recipe with kefir and sour cream
There are several completely different recipes for making snowballs. To prepare the first recipe, you will need:
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of gelatin
- 50 grams of water
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1/3 cup kefir
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
The list of dairy products can be adjusted to suit taste, while maintaining the overall volume.
First, prepare the gelatin by soaking it in cold water. Whisk the yolk with the sugar and, stirring constantly, add the gelatin a little at a time. Heat the milk until almost boiling and pour it into the egg-gelatin mixture in a thin stream. Stir thoroughly until the gelatin and sugar are completely dissolved, then add the sour cream and kefir. Stir again, pour into glasses or bowls, and let cool in the refrigerator for an hour.
Chocolate "snowball"
For the second recipe you will need:
- 5 eggs
- 1 liter of milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 2 teaspoons of cocoa
Separate the whites from the yolks, cool, and beat until fluffy. Bring the milk to a simmer over low heat. Using a spoon, drop the beaten whites into the boiling milk. Cook for about 3 minutes, turning them over with a fork or slotted spoon. Place the cooked whites in a deep bowl and let cool.
Use the remaining yolks to make the cream. Whisk them with sugar until a smooth white paste forms, then add flour and cocoa. Add a little hot milk and pour the entire mixture into the remaining boiling milk. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour the resulting cream over the finished snowballs and let cool. Serve the desserts with coconut flakes, chocolate chips, fresh fruit, and berries.
