Rainbow dessert "Trio" with cottage cheese
Content
Sometimes we all crave not only the good taste of a particular food, but also its aesthetic appeal. This desire is especially heightened in the spring, when everything begins to bloom and smell, and nature is ablaze with vibrant colors. Then we crave something unusual and colorful. It’s easy to make such a wish come true: just cook "Trio" - cottage cheese dessert. It combines truly excellent taste and exquisite appearance.
A recipe for triple pleasure
To treat yourself to this deliciousness, you will need:
- Cottage cheese – 400 g;
- Instant gelatin – 20 g;
- Sour cream – 450 g;
- Half a packet of vanilla sugar;
- Half a glass of regular sugar;
- Food colorings of different colors;
- Half a bar of chocolate.
So, let's begin preparing our exquisite curd dessert. Pour a little over half a cup of cold water over the gelatin. Wait until the gelatin dissolves. Meanwhile, prepare the base for the "Trio": place the sour cream, cottage cheese, and sugar in a deep bowl. It's best to use fresh, homemade dairy products.
The higher the fat content, the more delicious the dessert will be. Using a blender or mixer, crush them and whisk them lightly. The result should be a creamy, pleasant consistency. Add the dissolved gelatin to this mixture, mix everything thoroughly, and then divide the base into three parts, pouring them into bowls.
To truly make our curd dessert a "Trio," we need to make it three-colored. To do this, we'll leave one half of the base white and color the other two. The more coloring you add, the richer and more intense the color will be. If you want a vibrant curd dessert, use more coloring. If you prefer soft, pastel tones, add just a little. You can also use natural "colors" like cherry juice or cocoa to add a splash of color to your dessert.
Next, we'll need a round springform pan. We'll begin shaping our treat. This is a crucial step. To ensure a beautiful pattern on the curd dessert, you need to be careful and attentive. First, remember to pour the base directly into the center. This ensures a uniform and neat pattern.
So, pour 4 tablespoons of the uncolored mixture, that is, the white one, directly into the center of the mold. Next, on top of it, but also directly in the center, pour the mixture of the other color. Directly in the center of the other color, pour a third of the mixture. Continue pouring the curd mixture into the mold, one at a time, adhering to the "directly in the center" strategy. The result should be a beautiful, rainbow-colored mixture.
Decorate and serve
Now you can create patterns on it using a toothpick. The easiest way to create a "web" is to simply lightly drag the toothpick across the surface of the future treat, dividing it into "sectors." After this, our treat is almost ready. Place it in the refrigerator to set, and keep it there for about four hours. This will be plenty of time, as our dessert contains gelatin. This means you won't have any problems setting it.
After four hours, carefully remove our "Trio" dessert from the mold. If you followed the recipe exactly and did everything correctly, you shouldn't have any problems with this.
You can serve it straight from the refrigerator, or you can decorate it a bit, perhaps with chocolate. To do this, simply grate the chocolate finely and sprinkle it over the dessert, or make large chocolate shavings and arrange them beautifully on top. After this, this delicate curd dessert is ready to be served, delighting your guests with a unique, vibrant dessert. Enjoy!
