A few words about cottage cheese
It is a fermented milk product obtained by curdling sour milk. Recipes vary to produce products with varying fat content. There are four types: full-fat (19-23%), regular (4-18%), low-fat (2-3.8%), and skim (0-1.8%). It is currently produced from both whole milk and standardized milk. Cottage cheese is low in fat (9%), high in protein (18%), and rich in beneficial elements (A, PP, beta-carotene, B1, B2, C, D, E) and minerals (calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus). It is especially recommended for children during periods of active growth and for athletes. It is also often used in various diets and recovery programs.
A variety of cooking methods
Recipes can be divided into those that require cooking and those that can be eaten raw. Cottage cheese desserts can be prepared in just a few minutes, using just a blender and refrigerator. Recipes that require additional baking, frying, or other heating require more time to prepare, but impart a unique flavor.
No-bake dishes
Interesting no-bake cottage cheese desserts can be made using simple kitchen appliances and a refrigerator. Most cheesecakes are made with sour cream or heavy cream, sugar, gelatin (agar-agar is also an option), and fruit. They are often described as "quick" and "lazy" because they take between 30 minutes and an hour to prepare.
