Everyone probably knows the famous "Drunken Cherry" cake. The recipe is, of course, much simpler, but the principle remains the same: cherries and chocolate go perfectly together. To prepare the dish, you'll need:
- two eggs;
- 0.15 kg sugar;
- a package of vanilla sugar;
- 80 milliliters of vegetable oil;
- a glass of milk;
- 300 grams of flour;
- a couple of teaspoons of baking powder;
- cocoa (three spoons);
- a pinch of salt;
- 0.3 kg fresh or canned pitted fruits;
- a bar of dark chocolate.
Recipe:
- Mix regular sugar with vanilla and beat with eggs.
- Add vegetable oil, milk, salt, baking powder and flour.
- Mix the dough well and divide it in half. Add cocoa to one of the parts.
- Grease the baking pan thoroughly with butter and pour in the light half of the dough.
- Carefully place the cherries and pour the brown half of the dough on top.
- You can bake this chocolate cherry cake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.
- When the dessert is ready, break up the chocolate bar and melt it in a double boiler. Drizzle the resulting glaze over the cherry cake.
The combination of cherry sourness and the bitter taste of chocolate make this a truly royal treat.
Cupcake with condensed milk
This cherry treat is easy to make by adding condensed milk to the dough. The dessert recipe requires the following ingredients:
- sugar (1 cup);
- eggs (4 pieces);
- a glass of condensed milk (it is advisable to put it in the refrigerator before cooking);
- 0.2 kg cherries;
- butter;
- 0.2 kg chocolate glaze (homemade or ready-made);
- a bag of coconut flakes.
Recipe for making a cupcake:
- If you are using frozen fruit for baking, you need to defrost it first and then remove the pits.
- Beat the eggs in a blender until thick foam forms, gradually adding sugar.
- Carefully pour flour into the egg mixture and stir.
- Generously grease the pan you'll be baking the cake in. You can sprinkle a little flour on top.
- Pour out one part of the dough, place the fruit on it and pour in the other half.
- To bake, preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place the cake in it for half an hour.
- The finished dessert can be drizzled with chocolate glaze and sprinkled with coconut flakes.
Cherry with ginger
We offer another interesting recipe for cherry candy. Ingredients:
- two teaspoons of dried ginger;
- 120 grams of cherries;
- half a glass of vegetable oil;
- two glasses of flour;
- a glass of water;
- half a glass of sugar;
- a tablespoon of cocoa;
- two spoons of honey;
- a handful of walnuts;
- soda, salt.
How to cook:
- Dissolve honey and sugar in water, add salt and oil.
- Pour loose ingredients (flour, ginger, soda, cocoa) into a bowl and mix.
- Mix both parts of the dough, add cherries and nuts.
- Pour into a baking dish and place in the oven for an hour at 180 degrees.
- Sprinkle the finished baked goods with powdered sugar.
