Use gelatin

To thicken 500 g of cream you will need 10 g of gelatin and 50 ml of water.

Dissolve the gelatin in water and mix it with a small amount of cream. Add the resulting mixture to the main part of the cream, mix well, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Add cornstarch

Cornstarch is an excellent thickener. To rehydrate 500 grams of mascarpone cream, you'll need a heaping tablespoon of cornstarch and a little water.
