What you will need:
- Flour;
- 500 grams of butter or margarine;

- 300 ml of water;

Add a teaspoon of vinegar to the cold water to make the dough elastic, and a pinch of salt. Stir to dissolve the salt. While adding water, knead the dough until it's firm and elastic. Then knead it thoroughly on a floured surface.
The dough is typically rolled out to a specific thickness of one centimeter, with the edges slightly thinner, giving it a square shape. Butter or margarine is placed in the center, cut into several pieces. The dough is folded with the corners toward the center, and the edges and sides are secured together, creating a closed envelope. The dough, with the butter or margarine inside, is then rolled out to the same thickness as before. The process is repeated and refrigerated for half an hour. After this time, the dough is removed, carefully rolled out, folded, and then returned to the refrigerator—this process is repeated twice.
