When I bake for parties, I always prefer to have them all the same size. It's convenient for a variety of people, and the table looks more festive. It's nice to treat guests to dessert! Sometimes you want to make something more than just chocolate muffins, but something a little more creative. Even if it's as simple as skewering a cupcake, strawberries, and marshmallows.

Kebabs are a popular barbecue treat, so I thought it would be fun to bring that theme into the world of desserts. This isn't so much a recipe as it is a tutorial on how to assemble some fun treats. Give it a try—it's so simple, delicious, and beautiful!

You can buy ready-made cupcakes or make them yourself. I recommend using Chocolate muffin recipe with added cocoa.

Wash and dry the strawberries, and remove the stems. Trim the berries so both ends are flat. Thread the strawberries, cupcakes, and marshmallows onto skewers. (It's best to cut the skewers in half.)

Melt the chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler. Using a pastry bag, a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off, or simply drizzling it in a thin stream, garnish the dessert with chocolate.

Place in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
