Let's take:

  • 450 g of any rye bread
  • 260 g of cottage cheese
  • 100 ml cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • any jam, preserves, marmalade

Recipe:

  1. First, let's prepare the bread. Remove the crusts from the loaf and crumble it as finely as possible. Place it in a frying pan. Add the sugar and cinnamon and heat the mixture, stirring constantly, over low heat for about 20 minutes. Remove from the pan and let cool.
  2. We need to make a soft, sweet mixture from the cottage cheese (you can use ready-made cottage cheese, or you can use fruit). Combine the cottage cheese, cream, and powdered sugar in a deep bowl and mix until smooth.
  3. The dessert is layered, so use a glass bowl or individual serving bowls. Start with the rye crumbs, then the curd mixture, then a layer of jam. Repeat the layers as needed, finishing with another layer of bread. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. The end result will be an unusual and very juicy treat!
