You won't have to run to the store even if guests are already at the door. All the necessary ingredients for the pie are sure to be found in any housewife's refrigerator. Here are some recipes for making a quick cottage cheese pie.
Cottage cheese is a healthy dairy product containing a large amount of protein and calcium, essential not only for the growth of a young body but also for strengthening bones and muscles in adults. However, not everyone enjoys this product in its pure form, so cottage cheese is often used at home to make tvorozhniki (curd pancakes) or pancakes, as well as a delicious dessert.
Pie with sprinkles
To prepare you will need:
- 3 cups flour.
- 1 pack of any butter or margarine.
- 1 cup granulated sugar.
- Vanillin on the tip of a knife.
- 3 eggs.
- 0.5 kg of cottage cheese.
- 0.5 teaspoon of soda
- Vegetable oil for greasing the sheet.
Preparing the topping:
- Soften 1/3 pack of margarine.
- Add 1 cup of flour to it.
- Rub everything thoroughly with your hands.
- The resulting dough should have a crumbly texture. If you squeeze it in your fist, the crumbs should form a lump and crumble with gentle pressure. If the lump remains intact, add more flour.
Let's move on to the main procedure - preparing the dough and baking:
- Combine eggs with sugar and beat thoroughly.
- The cottage cheese should also be mashed with margarine, but don't use a mixer. A mixer will make the mixture sticky and mushy, but you want an airy cottage cheese mixture. Mixing everything with a regular fork is sufficient.
- Add vanillin and baking soda to the resulting mass.
- When finished, combine everything with flour, which can be thinned slightly with semolina. This will make the pie more airy and light.
- Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil.
- Place the resulting mixture on it.
- Sprinkle the prepared topping over everything.
- Place in the oven, preheating it to 180C.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
That's it, your quick pie is ready and didn't take much time or money. Guests are at the door, and the hostess has fresh baked goods on the table.
Pie with cottage cheese and apples
To prepare the dough you will need:
- Sugar 1 cup.
- Flour 1 cup.
- Baking powder 1 packet.
- 2 egg yolks.
- 150g butter.
- Vanillin.
Combine all ingredients and place in a bag. Refrigerate the dough while you prepare the filling.
For the filling, combine 0.5 kg of cottage cheese, 3 egg yolks, vanilla, 1 cup of sugar, lemon zest, 50 g of starch, and a pinch of salt. You'll get a smooth, elastic mixture.
Beat the remaining 3 egg whites until foamy and carefully fold into the filling mixture. Peel and slice 3 apples (of your choice) into attractive wedges.
Carefully place the dough on a greased baking sheet and create a border. Pour the filling inside and garnish with apple slices. Bake for 40-45 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F). After baking, spread the top of the pie with any jam and enjoy.
