What delicious things can you make from cookies?
What's so great about no-bake cookie desserts? They require less time and effort to prepare. Perfect for when you need a quick and easy solution for tea with guests, or when you suddenly want to treat yourself and your loved ones to something delicious.
There are a great many no-bake cookie desserts: Italian Tiramisu, American Cheesecake, even French Napoleon and Russian Bird's Milk are prepared without baking the dough. You can make desserts using ingredients you already have at home and customize them to your liking. Cookies are used to make cakes, pastries, and desserts. Marshmallows, gingerbread, fruit, sour cream, cottage cheese, waffles, candied fruit, chocolate, and even corn puffs are all popular toppings.
For example, sponge cookies, which soak easily, can be used to make cakes or pastries, each with a different type of filling and syrup. Maple syrup is one of the healthiest additions to desserts; it's a champion among syrups in terms of vitamin, phytohormonal, and antioxidant content.
Caramel dessert
A wonderful recipe for a dessert made from Caramel cookies, very easy and quick to prepare.
You will need:
- 2 packages of shortbread cookies
- A can of boiled condensed milk (you can buy it already boiled)
- A pack of butter
- Half a glass of raisins
- 200g roasted peanuts
- Chocolate shavings (for decoration)
Pour hot water over the raisins until they swell. Roast the peanuts, peel them, and chop them. When the raisins are soft, rinse and dry them. Cut the butter into pieces and melt them in a double boiler. Then beat the butter and condensed milk thoroughly with a mixer. Add the raisins and a small amount of peanuts (70 g) and stir with a spoon.
Dip each cookie or spread it with cream, whichever you prefer. You can arrange them in a mound or make cakes. Sprinkle each layer of cookies with peanuts. Decorate the top with chocolate shavings and the remaining nuts. Then refrigerate our dessert for a couple of hours to set. Enjoy!
Homemade tiramisu
The recipe for "Tiramisu" translates as "cheer me up," from the Italian tira (to pull), mi (me), and su (up). A delicate, beautiful, and incredibly delicious dessert.
Ingredients required:
- 500 gr. Mascarpone
- 1 pack of Savoiardi biscuits or other sponge biscuits
- 4 eggs
- 40 ml. You can choose alcohol to taste: liqueur (Baileys), cognac, rum, brandy.
- 100g of sugar
- 1 cup of strong coffee
- Vanillin
- Cocoa powder
First, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Even beginners should be able to do this. Cool the whites, add a pinch of salt, and beat until stiff peaks form. Now refrigerate the foam and move on to the other ingredients.
Beat the yolks with sugar and vanilla until pale. This will take about 15 minutes. The final mixture should resemble thick cream. One tip: Italians don't recommend whipping at high speed.
Place the mascarpone cheese in a separate bowl and mash it. Now slowly add it to the yolk mixture. It's best to continue mixing the mixture by hand, as too much whisking can cause it to separate. Then add the egg white foam and gently mix until smooth. If the mixture starts to separate, don't worry; just stir it with a spatula. The cream is ready; refrigerate it.
Now you can take a short break and make some coffee for yourself and for the most delicate dessert – tiramisu. We'll need natural, strong coffee without sugar. Pour a shot of liqueur, cognac, or rum into the cooled coffee – trust your taste here. Choose the dish you'll use to serve our cookie dessert. These could be bowls, a platter, small vases, or something else entirely.
Next, each baker decides which method is more convenient for them: either line the bottom of the pan with cream and then quickly dip the cookies in coffee, or place the cookies on top of the cream. (Caution! The cookies will get soggy immediately, so the second option is better for beginners.) Or, first place the cookies, pour as much coffee as they can handle, and then pour in the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle cocoa powder over the cream using a sieve.
Place our beauty in the refrigerator for 6-10 hours to allow the tiramisu to soak and mature. Try this dessert and let it give you unforgettable moments of delicious pleasure!
