It's important for every housewife to have one or two dishes in her arsenal that, when served, will be a real surprise not only for guests, but also a revelation for the housewife herself. An original sweet dish served as a dessert, a cake, or another type of baked good will always be a welcome addition to the holiday table.
A fun and delicious dessert
The variety of sweet dishes today amazes any gourmet, but this pastry, a cute little sheep reminiscent of cartoon characters, is a true masterpiece. This cake owes its origin to an original approach to New Year's table setting. The simplicity and originality of this delicious cake, shaped like a cute sheep, make this unique and delicious dish quick to prepare. It's easy to make, so with the necessary ingredients, kitchen tools, and, most importantly, desire, you can create an irresistible treat in no time.
Before you begin, decide on the number of servings. The cake looks distinct and is a distinct piece within the composition. The main ingredients you'll need to make 4 servings are:
- 3 chicken eggs;
- a glass of flour;
- a glass of granulated sugar;
- a glass of whipped cream;
- a pinch of green natural dye;
- peanut kernels - 2 pcs.;
- two sticks of sweet straw.
Every homemaker planning a sheep dessert will spend no more than 10 minutes preparing all the necessary ingredients to begin cooking. Like any pastry, the cake has a base. First, you need to make sponge cake shapes in the shape of the sheep's bodies and heads. The sponge cake is made as follows: First, separate the whites from the yolks, then vigorously beat both separately with sugar. Combine the resulting mixtures and mix with sifted flour, then beat the entire mixture again.
Baking and shaping
Place the resulting mixture in small portions on a sheet lined with parchment paper. The larger portions will be used for the sheep's bodies, while the smaller pieces will become the future heads. Preheat the oven to 180°C.0The future sheep is baked for no more than 10 minutes.
While the pastry is baking, prepare the frosting. Whip the frosting with sugar for 10 minutes, then divide the mixture into two parts, adding green food coloring to one. During this time, the sheep's body and head are already prepared. Using a special syringe, squeeze white frosting onto the larger part in swirls, giving the future cake the appearance of a real sheep's fleece. Decorate the smaller sponge cake by adding ears made from peanut halves to the head. The sheep is placed on legs made from candy straw sticks, and finally, the base of the dish is lined with green frosting, imitating a green lawn.
The entire preparation takes no more than half an hour, and every housewife can create a similar composition on her own, to the delight of her family and friends.
