Valentine's Day is one of those rare holidays that people eagerly await. On this day, all lovers strive to express their feelings and surprise their significant other. We offer you desserts that are suitable for February 14th.

Pie "For Lovers"

Pie "For Lovers"

To prepare the dessert, you need to take 225 g of butter and sugar.

These ingredients are thoroughly beaten, after which 4 chicken eggs and 2 tablespoons of fresh milk are added to them, stirred, 225 g of wheat flour and 55 g of cocoa powder are added and lumps are removed.

Carefully transfer the prepared mixture to a baking dish (preferably a heart-shaped one) and bake in the oven for about 50 minutes. Cool and cut into two halves (separate into two heart-shaped layers).

Now we take:

  • whipped cream – 300 ml
  • raspberries (preferably fresh) – 200 g
  • melted chocolate – 150 g
  • raspberries - another 50 g
  • candied rose petals

Cream is mixed with raspberries to form a custard, which is spread over the two prepared cake layers and then pressed together. Chocolate, berries, and rose petals are used to decorate the cake. The dessert is ready – it's time to celebrate Valentine's Day!

Marshmallow hearts from Valentine

Marshmallow hearts

To make this Valentine's Day treat, you'll need marshmallows or soft pastilles (you can also use soufflés). Using a special heart shaper or a regular knife, cut out even hearts and thread them in several layers onto wooden skewers.

For the frosting, melt a bar of your favorite chocolate (do this in a double boiler). Now carefully dip the marshmallows in the chocolate and roll them in colorful confetti.

As you can see, this is a simple but very tasty recipe for lovers.

Gingerbread Valentines

Gingerbread Valentines

To make this Valentine's dessert, you'll need to completely dissolve 3 tablespoons of sugar in half a packet of butter and add all the spices (nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, a teaspoon of ginger), as well as 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 chicken egg, and 260 g of wheat flour. Stir the mixture thoroughly at each step.

When the dough is ready, divide it into two parts and put it in the refrigerator for two hours, after wrapping it in cling film.

After removing the dough from the refrigerator, roll it out to a thickness of 1 cm and cut out heart shapes. Bake these shapes on a baking sheet at 180 degrees Celsius.

The icing is made with cranberry juice (2 tablespoons) and powdered sugar (half a cup). If you want to make Valentine's Day more colorful, try other drinks:

  • carrot juice will give the valentines an orange color;
  • spinach will give you a green color;
  • The purple hue is typical of chokeberry, etc.

Use your imagination, and the dessert will turn out magnificent and delicious, and Valentine's Day will remain in your memory forever!

Heart Cookies

Heart Cookies

For February 14th, you can make simple cookies, giving them a special touch. To do this, knead the dough with flour (250 g), sugar (75 g), butter (125 g), one egg, and a pinch of salt. Be sure to wrap it in several layers of cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.

After this, you'll need to carefully roll out the dough and cut out hearts (there should be an even number of them). Divide the shapes in half—use a small cookie cutter to cut out the center of one half (also in the shape of a heart).

Now brush the cookies with egg yolk, sprinkle with sugar, and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, spread the base with strawberry, cherry, or raspberry jam, and top with the figurine and the cut-out center (allowing some of the jam to spill out).

Do you already know who to give this heart to for Valentine's Day?
