Desserts you can make for Easter
Dear hostesses, if you don't have time to make yeast dough for a traditional Easter cake, you can bake lighter desserts. In fact, you can make all sorts of gingerbread, pies, cakes, and cookies for this holiday. The main thing is that the Easter dessert is filling and calorie-rich (after Lent). To do this, you need to use rich dough, including butter, eggs, sour cream, cottage cheese and other ingredients.
You can add dried fruits, candied fruits, jam, chocolate, nuts, spices, etc. as additions. Decorate the baked goods with powdered sugar, custard, coconut flakes, colorful sprinkles, and fruit.
Colorful Easter cake
To make this recipe, take:
- Chocolate – 350 g
- Cocoa – 3 tbsp.
- Chicken eggs – 4 pcs.
- Milk – 1 glass
- Flour – 1.5 cups
- 35% cream – 150 ml
- Butter and sugar – 200 g each
- Almonds – 100 g
- Baking powder – 1 tsp.
Now we do the following:
- Prepare the dough. Break 150 g of chocolate into pieces, add 1 tbsp of butter, and melt in a double boiler.
- The remaining butter should be softened, add eggs, sugar, and rub.
- Now you need to add flour and baking powder and mix everything.
- Grind the nuts into fine crumbs (for example, using a blender) and add 2/3 of the resulting mixture to the dough.
- The dough must be divided into 2 parts: add cocoa and milk to the first, and add the remaining nuts to the second.
- Place 2 tablespoons of light nut batter and 1 tablespoon of dark cocoa batter in a silicone mold, then drizzle with melted chocolate. Repeat this process several times.
- Bake the pie in the oven at 160 degrees (one and a half hours).
- Meanwhile, prepare the glaze: grate the chocolate, bring the cream to a boil and mix.
All that's left to do is remove the pie from the oven, drizzle with chocolate icing, and decorate with berries. As you can see, the recipe is quite simple. And it will make a magnificent and delicious dish stand out on your Easter table.
Chocolate Orange Cake
The recipe includes the following ingredients:
- Chocolate and butter – 100 g each
- Sugar – 150 g
- Sour cream – 200 g
- Flour – 350 g
- Large egg – 4 pcs.
- Orange zest – 1 tbsp.
- Baking powder – 2 tsp.
- Orange - 1 pc (we'll take the zest and juice from it)
- Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt (on the tip of a knife)
- For the syrup - 3 more oranges
Note to the housewife: Easter kulich and cupcakes are different dishes. Kulich requires yeast dough, which means it takes longer to prepare. Cupcakes, on the other hand, are much quicker and easier to bake.
Step by step cupcake recipe:
- Separate the yolks from the whites and grind with sugar, butter and baking powder.
- Beat the whites until foamy, adding a pinch of salt.
- Combine the whites and yolks, add flour and orange zest, pour in vanilla sugar.
- Pour orange juice into the dough, add chopped chocolate and sour cream, mix and place in the oven for an hour.
- Orange syrup is prepared from 1 tablespoon of sugar and the juice of 3 oranges, which must be poured into a saucepan and brought to a boil.
Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool, poke a few holes in the cake, and pour the syrup into them. This will allow the cake to soak thoroughly overnight. A complicated recipe? Of course not.
Bon appetit!
