Cottage cheese soufflé in 5 minutes: microwave it
Content
Every housewife is sure to have several dishes in her arsenal whose recipes are fundamentally different from traditional cooking. The popularity of soufflé is well known to many cooks. Today, you can prepare a delicious and delicate dessert not only in the traditional way, but also right in your regular microwave oven.
There are quite a number of soufflé recipes today. The dish itself has French roots. The dessert is based on egg yolks. Chefs first appreciated the valuable qualities of chicken eggs for making confectionery in the mid-16th century. As it turns out, mixing egg yolks with any other filling and finishing with lightly beaten egg whites can produce a luxurious dish. Recipes might differ only in the filling or the composition of the filling.
Cooking soufflé in modern conditions
Curd soufflé is traditionally served both as a main course and as a dessert. Traditionally, soufflés were baked in the oven at a high temperature, sufficient to puff up the bulk of the soufflé. However, today, technology has advanced significantly, offering a similar delicacy prepared in the microwave. Unlike oven baking, which requires reaching the required baking temperature, baking in the microwave takes only 10 minutes.
Against this backdrop, soufflé recipes made with cottage cheese deserve special attention. With just eggs and a packet of cottage cheese in the fridge, any home cook can prepare a unique and delicious dish in 10-15 minutes. Cottage cheese is a convenient addition here, significantly enhancing the dessert's flavor and increasing its quantity.
The cottage cheese soufflé recipe we offer is surprisingly simple and quick to make. To make one serving of soufflé, follow these steps:
- 100 g of cottage cheese, with at least 5% fat content;
- chicken egg - 1 pc.;
- a tablespoon of sugar;
- a tablespoon of semolina;
- lemon juice - a teaspoon.
You can garnish the dish with pieces of fruit or berries. Grated chocolate, jam, or preserves are also excellent.
Cooking process
Cooking begins with preparing the egg mixture. Crack the egg into a separate bowl and mix it with granulated sugar, then beat everything with a mixer until smooth. At this point, you can add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the egg mixture.
Cottage cheese soufflé differs from ordinary treats not only in the composition of the necessary ingredients but also in the subsequent taste. Just half a pack of cottage cheese can significantly increase the volume of the dish, and thanks to the microwave, it significantly saves time and energy.
Mix the thoroughly mashed cottage cheese with the beaten egg. Semolina is added as a binding agent. One tablespoon of semolina is enough to ensure the dessert is airy and doesn't crumble into small pieces. After thoroughly mixing the mixture until smooth, transfer it to a small baking pan for subsequent microwave baking. Bake in two batches. The first batch lasts three minutes, then, after allowing the mixture to cool slightly, begin the second batch, lasting two minutes.
After 5-7 minutes, the dessert will be ready. The resulting soufflé can be carefully transferred by inverting the mold onto a clean plate. The recipe may vary in the inclusion of other ingredients, but a curd soufflé will be the most delicious and original.
