We prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Pour all the sugar into a thick-bottomed saucepan and add the glucose syrup. Place the saucepan on the heat.
When the sugar has melted to an amber-colored caramel, add warm cream and stir.
Then add orange juice and bring the mixture to a smooth consistency.
After the juice, add the butter to the caramel and stir. Let the caramel simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Turn off the heat and add the lemon zest and chopped, squeezed orange to the caramel.
At this stage, add salt and mix the whole mass.
Cover the saucepan with a lid and leave the caramel until it cools.
Strain the caramel through a sieve.
Next, pour the resulting caramel sauce into jars. Afterward, refrigerate the containers.
