Let's prepare the main ingredients - large ripe bananas, cooking chocolate and sticks.
Naturally, you can increase the number of servings. You'll just need a little more chocolate and sticks.
Peel large bananas and cut into 2 equal parts.
We attach the banana halves to wooden sticks, as in the photo.
Tempering chocolate.
Place 300 grams of chocolate dragees (or finely chopped chocolate) into a container of suitable volume and heat in the microwave several times for 10-15 seconds until the chocolate begins to melt.
Once the chocolate has melted sufficiently, you can stir it with a spatula until smooth. You should have a soft, pliable, and fairly thick chocolate mass, as shown in the photo.
Pour the tempered chocolate into a tall glass (the height should be slightly longer than the length of the bananas).
Carefully dip each banana on a stick into the chocolate and, after letting the excess glaze drip off, place it on a board or tray, on top of a silicone mat.
After covering all the banana pieces with chocolate glaze, place them in the refrigerator (not the freezer) until the chocolate has completely hardened.
After 30 minutes, take the beautifully set chocolate-covered banana out of the refrigerator and move on to the second part of our recipe – decorating the dessert.
We transfer the banana pieces into portioned paper plates.
To decorate, melt some dark chocolate, transfer it to a piping bag (or use a regular bag with a small hole), and draw a chocolate design on the cookie. In our version, it's just horizontal stripes.
Sprinkle each serving with white coconut flakes.
You can make white chocolate-covered bananas in a similar way, replacing 300 grams of milk chocolate with white cooking chocolate. Otherwise, the preparation is the same.
Another interesting and equally delicious option is making bananas in a colored chocolate coating. The preparation method is the same as the previous option, except for the colored coating, you use regular white chocolate with added food coloring.
You can also make delicious banana lollipops using this technique. This option is more suitable for children, as a large banana can sometimes fall off the stick, while a round lollipop is gobbled up in no time. The only difference in this recipe is that instead of the entire banana, only a small round piece is attached to the stick.
