Melt pieces of dark chocolate and soft butter in a water bath.
The result should be a glossy, homogeneous mass.
In a deep bowl, combine one medium-sized chicken egg, cream cheese and regular sugar (you can replace it with brown sugar or add a sweetener).
Beat the mixture with a mixer until fluffy and smooth, adding peanut butter as you go.
Vanilla extract for flavor, optional. Stir.
Beat the remaining eggs and sugar thoroughly in a clean bowl until fluffy and light in color.
Add warm melted chocolate and butter to the egg-sugar mixture. Stir until smooth.
Gradually add wheat flour, baking powder and salt to the chocolate mixture, kneading the dough.
Grease a baking pan with butter. Spread raspberry jam in an even layer on the bottom.
Carefully spread the chocolate dough into a 1.5–2 cm layer, then the peanut mixture.
Place the chocolate dough on top again.
Place the cake in an oven preheated to 160°C for 20–25 minutes.
Don't remove the brownies from the oven right away. Let them cool slightly in a warm place, then at room temperature. Slice the cooled cake. Enjoy!
How long does it take to bake brownies?
The distinctive feature of the chocolate brownie is its slightly moist interior. This is what creates the unforgettable sensation of eating a rich, chocolate-flavored sponge cake. This is especially evident when the cake is still warm.
This effect can be achieved by using the right dough consistency, but the main emphasis is still on the baking process.
The optimal baking time for brownies is 20–25 minutes at 160°C (320°F). Other baking times may negatively affect the dough.
How to serve brownies
Chocolate sponge cake develops its flavor best when slightly warm. Since brownies are traditionally served in small squares, the whole cake should cool to room temperature before slicing. This will make it easier to cut, and the individual pieces will hold their shape well. Therefore, you can warm the brownies in the microwave if desired.
