Paradise apple jam

The apple jam turns out very delicate, with a beautiful, rich color. It's important to remember that the longer the jam cooks, the darker its color will be. It will also thicken as it heats up. Therefore, it's important to decide in advance what consistency you need for the jam so you can turn off the heat in time.

Preparation

Step 1

Rinse the apples in the sink and drain. Then cut each apple in half and remove the seed pods. Transfer the apples to a saucepan.

Step 2

Cook the sugar and water syrup over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes from the moment it boils. Pour it over the apple halves and cook for about 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Grind everything with an immersion blender, boil for about 5 minutes and seal the apple jam in jars.

Keep in mind that boiling down will reduce the original volume to almost half its original volume. If the jam is prepared correctly, it can be stored without sealing. It's important that the sugar content be at least 60%, as it acts as a preservative.
