Sugar-free apple jam for the winter
Sugar-free apple jam can be used not only as a breakfast or teatime accompaniment. It can be added to baked goods, marshmallows, caramels, sponge cakes, meat marinades, and other preserves. The creative possibilities are endless.

It's easy and straightforward to prepare, but it does require some experience. Not everyone can do it right the first time.

Remove the seeds and stems from the apples, cut them into pieces, and place them directly into the cooking pot. Add water.
Transfer the saucepan to the stove and bring the water to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon.
Blend the softened mixture with an immersion blender or pass it through a fine-mesh sieve to remove all coarse particles. The latter method is more labor-intensive, but will result in the smoothest jam possible.
Return the puree to the stove, turn the heat to very low, and bring to a boil. Or, simmer for another 15 minutes to thicken the mixture.
While hot, place into sterilized jars and seal.
