Apple and plum jam

Remove the pits from the plums and cut the apples into pieces of about 1-1.5 cm.
Combine the fruits in a saucepan and add sugar, stir and leave to infuse for 1 hour so that the apples and plums release their juice.
Place over low heat and wait for the sugar to completely dissolve. To speed up the process, stir the bottom with a silicone spatula. This will ensure nothing sticks to the bottom.
Slightly increase the heat and simmer for 30-50 minutes, stirring occasionally. The time will vary depending on the apple variety.
Blend everything using an immersion blender or any other blender until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Pour the jam into sterilized jars and seal. Turn the jars upside down, cover with a blanket or towel, and let cool.
