Apple jam in a slow cooker
The key feature of any multicooker recipe is that you don't have to do anything after turning the appliance on. Just wait for the program to finish and enjoy the results. In the case of jam, this means no hours of standing at the stove stirring the contents of the pan.

Apple peels contain many nutrients and, more importantly for this recipe, pectin. This natural thickener ensures the right consistency. Apple peels are typically discarded to create a softer and more uniform texture. But this recipe utilizes all the ingredients to the fullest.
If desired, you can add citrus zest, whole cinnamon, ginger, cloves, or nutmeg to the apples. They will add new notes to the classic flavor. Just remember to remove the spices before mashing the apples.

We prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Peel the apples and place them in the multicooker bowl. Fill with water and turn on the "Steam" setting for 10 minutes. This will allow the apple peels to soften, after which you can discard them, saving only the cooking liquid.
Sprinkle peeled apples with sugar and mix.
Set the multicooker to the “Bake” mode for 30 minutes, stir the contents of the bowl, and then select “Rice/cereals/pilaf” for another 40 minutes.
Transfer the apples to another bowl and mash with a potato masher or quickly blend in a blender. After this, the jam is ready to be rolled into sterilized jars.
