The necessary ingredients are readily available in every kitchen, and the preparation time is minimal. But with this minimal effort, you can create unusual decorations in a variety of shapes, each with its own distinct flavor. Pour water into a saucepan with a thick bottom.
Add sugar there too.
We send the saucepan to the stove.
Almost immediately add citric acid and mix everything.
Boil the syrup for two minutes.
When a light caramel color appears, remove the saucepan from the stove and cool it by placing it in a bowl of cold water.
When the syrup thickens a little, apply it to a silicone mat or parchment paper using a spatula in the shape of the chosen figure.
You can also just make smears of caramel.
When the figures have cooled, carefully separate them from the silicone mat or parchment.
