Pour sugar into a saucepan with a thick bottom.
Melt over low heat.
Carefully pour in boiling water and stir the sugar mixture well.
Add butter and mix the mixture until smooth.
Add baking soda, salt and all the spices.
Stir the mixture until smooth, remove it from heat and cool to room temperature.
Add the yolk to the cooled custard base.
Mix the mixture well.
Add sifted flour in small portions.
Knead a soft, elastic dough.
Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
We roll out the dough and cut out different figures from it.
Bake the gingerbread at 180 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
The gingerbread cookies are ready.
