This is a classic Italian cookie recipe made without butter or baking powder. Thanks to their special composition, biscotti made this way have a very long shelf life—they don't spoil or lose their original flavor. Sift the flour.
Make a small indentation in the center and pour sugar into it.
Beat the eggs.
Mix lightly and add almonds.
Now add the pine nuts.
Knead a soft dough.
Divide the dough into two parts and form each into a rope.
Place the strands on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten them slightly with your hands.
Grease the strands with yolk and place in a well-heated oven.
Bake at 200-220 degrees for 20 minutes until golden brown.
