How to store pastila?

To prevent fruit pastilles from drying out after being exposed to the air, store them in clean, dry packaging. Cardboard packaging, plastic containers, small canvas bags, or wooden crates are all suitable. When storing, layer each layer with parchment paper.

It is recommended to store the pastila in a dark, ventilated area. The temperature should be between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius, with a humidity of 65 percent. Sudden temperature changes are unacceptable, as this will cause the product to lose its flavor. Do not store it in the refrigerator, as the pastila will immediately become sticky. If stored unopened at room temperature, it will simply dry out.

Glass jars, sterilized and dried beforehand, are also suitable for long-term storage. The dessert should be cut into pieces and placed in the container.
