This is a recipe for a luxurious caramel for layering and decorating desserts. It doesn't contain cream, but milk, and lightly toasted flour acts as a thickener. Even a novice pastry chef can make this caramel at home.

We prepare the necessary ingredients.
Pour the flour into a well-heated dry frying pan and lightly fry it, stirring.
When the flour has acquired a light brown color.
Add sugar and butter to it.
Stirring continuously, bring the mixture to a homogeneous state.
When the mixture has acquired a rich brown color, remove it from the heat.
Pour half of the hot milk into the caramel mixture in a thin stream and stir it carefully.
Return the pan to the heat and pour in the remaining milk.
Stir until the caramel is smooth. It's important not to burn it.
Remove the mixture from the heat and pour it into any glass container.
Let the caramel cool.
Now it can be used to decorate baked goods or served as a sauce for desserts.
