This recipe marked the beginning of a whole New Year's story of gingerbread men. The preparation process is quite simple, but to preserve the American flavor, you need to have some molasses.

Egg C11 pcs
-
Cinnamon2 tsp

-
Ginger (ground)2 tsp

Add sugar to the butter and beat with a mixer on low speed for about 5 minutes. The result should be a soft, airy cream.
The amount of sugar can be changed depending on your taste preferences, and you can also replace it with white sugar.
Combine the resulting mixture with the egg and whisk again. Then add the molasses and whisk again.
Mix all the dry ingredients and gradually pour them into the dough.
You can use natural ginger instead of ground ginger, but these options usually look less neat.
Remove the finished dough from the bowl, divide it into pieces, and place it on parchment paper or cling film.
Roll out the flatbreads into a thin layer 0.5 cm thick and put them in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Using special molds, we cut out our little people from the dough.
Place the cookies in the oven preheated to 190 degrees for 15 minutes.
We take our gingerbread cookies out of the oven and let them cool. We can leave them as is after this, but the decorated men look more interesting.
Cookies made with this recipe turn out soft and tender. These gingerbread men can be stored for up to 7 days.
