We prepare our strawberries, take them out of the freezer and transfer them to a large saucepan or pot.
Next, we put this pan on the fire so that the strawberries begin to thaw.
There is no need to add water; let the berries thaw using only the heat, this will remove excess moisture from the strawberries.
Keep the strawberries on medium heat and stir everything occasionally.
When the berries have thawed, transfer them to a blender bowl and puree them.
We return our puree back to the pan and put it back on the fire.
Add sugar to the strawberry puree and mix everything well.
Bring the mixture to a boil, and then simmer for a few more minutes over medium heat.
Also, don’t forget to constantly stir our puree during the cooking process so that it doesn’t burn.
When the puree is ready, remove it from the heat and place it in a sink with cold water to let our filling cool.
If you had a small saucepan, you could place it not in the sink, but in a basin of water.
During the cooling stage, stir the puree with a silicone spatula.
Next, pour the filling into a container, close it tightly and put it in the refrigerator.
