Apple and orange jam
Unlike jam, confiture is very quick to prepare. Thanks to its thick consistency, it can be used equally well as a filling for croissants and cupcakes, or as a fruit layer in a cake. Its sunny orange hue makes a beautiful addition to desserts.

First, wash the apples, then peel and cut them into pieces. Now, mince them until smooth. Wash the orange and then pour boiling water over it to remove any bitterness. Cut the orange into wedges and remove any seeds. Then, mince it again.
To make the jam more homogeneous, blend it with a blender.
Add sugar in parts and stir well so that it is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Place the pan over medium heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring constantly. Be sure to skim off any foam that forms on the surface to preserve the jam's beautiful color.
When the apple and orange jam has thickened, pour a portion into two sterilized 0.5-liter jars. Roll them up, turn them upside down, wrap them, and let them cool completely.
