This is one of the most classic cupcake frosting recipes. It requires only three ingredients. This frosting is very stable, yet quite light and glossy.

Place the soft butter into a deep bowl.
Beat it a little with a mixer at medium speed.
Add powdered sugar to the butter.
Beat the mixture until smooth, about 3 minutes.
Add cooled cream cheese to the butter mixture.
Beat the cream with a mixer for 15-30 seconds.
As soon as our mass becomes homogeneous, stop whisking.
The result is a delicate, silky and very stable cupcake frosting.
The cream is ready for further use.
We give the cream the desired shade. It is very easily colored with water-soluble gel dyes.
