Classic lemonade most often prepared from citrus fruits: lemons, oranges, grapefruits. And a very small number of recipes are offered do tonic drink from bright tangerines.
Because we subconsciously associate these fruits with winter holidays, few people use them in summer dishes. And that's a shame! Mandarin lemonade is very fresh, invigorating, moderately sweet, and pleasantly tart. Add sparkling water, and it'll taste like bottled Fanta, but much more pleasant and smooth. A perfect solution for a hot summer!

Even lemonade made using the most tried-and-true recipe can turn into mediocre, sugary water. To make the perfect drink, follow a few simple tips:
- Use only natural, fresh juice bases. It's best to avoid commercial juices in Tetra Paks, as they contain preservatives.
- Dilute lemonade with quality water. This can be regular or sparkling drinking water. You can boil and cool the regular water before adding it to the lemonade.
- Mint and ginger will help enhance the taste of lemonade.
- You can use food coloring to add a more intense color. If you're making lemonade for children, add saffron or turmeric.
- If possible, avoid using sugar or artificial sweeteners in lemonade. If you want to sweeten the drink, add honey or maple syrup.
- Lemonade, especially if it's been pre-boiled, shouldn't be poured into plastic containers. Use glass pitchers, jars, and bottles.
Don't be afraid to experiment. Lemonade can be made not only based on fruits and berries, but also vegetables, greens, various herbs and even flowers.
