Orange marmalade with agar-agar

    50 ml
  • Coconut flakes

  • Agar-agar

Preparation

Step 1

Squeeze the orange juice. Use any method you prefer. If you're using a juicer or squeezing by hand, lightly roll the fruit on a flat, hard surface or place it in hot water for a few minutes.

Step 2

We strain the juice to get rid of the pulp.

Step 3

In a saucepan, combine sugar and agar-agar.

Step 4

Pour cold water over the mixture. Stir. Place the saucepan on the heat.

Step 5

Cook until thickened, stirring the mixture with a spatula so that the sugar does not burn.

Step 6

Let the mixture cool slightly and pour in the orange juice.

Step 7

Pour the marmalade into a mold. A silicone muffin mold works best. Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Step 8

We take the marmalade out of the refrigerator, remove it from the mold, cut it into small cubes and roll it in coconut flakes.

Step 9
