Pour sugar into a bowl. If you're using a sweet wine, use less sugar or a little sweetener.
Add gelatin. It can be replaced with 15 g of agar-agar.
Pour in the wine.
Mix thoroughly and microwave on high for 1 minute. Alternatively, you can heat the saucepan on high.
The mixture will swell slightly and warm up. Stir it.
Pour the marmalade into molds using a pipette. Use special silicone molds to make the marmalade look like bears. These can be found in candy stores or online.
We put the marmalade in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
After the time has elapsed, carefully remove the marmalade from the mold.
Ready!
What wine goes best with marmalade?
First of all, the wine for marmalade or any other dessert must be high-quality. Homemade alcohol is the best option. This way, you can be completely sure it's made from real berries and contains no artificial flavorings or additives.
If you're buying wine, choose specialty grocery stores. These stores always supply vetted products from trusted suppliers and producers.
A less popular option is rosé wine. It's distinguished by a light, delicate aftertaste, reminiscent of marmalade.
