Preparation
Step 1
Pour sugar into a saucepan. Add water. Cook the syrup for 10–15 minutes over medium heat, stirring.
Step 2
We puree the washed red currants with a blender.
Step 3
Rub the currant puree through a sieve to remove the seeds.
Step 4
Add syrup. The mixture will become watery.
Step 5
Pour the currant mixture into a freezer-safe container. Place it in the freezer for 3-4 hours. Remove it from the freezer every 50-60 minutes and stir.
Step 6
Spoon the finished sorbet into a bowl using an ice cream scoop. Enjoy.
