This is a fairly simple recipe for delicious oatmeal cookies made with kefir. The amount of sugar can be adjusted. These cookies turn out quite crispy on the outside, but soft and incredibly tender on the inside. To enhance their flavor, you can add any dried fruits, chocolate, seeds, nuts, or aromatic spices to the dough.

We prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Melt the butter.
Add honey, egg, kefir and soda to it.
Mix the ingredients until smooth.
Grind the rolled oats lightly in a blender or coffee grinder, but not too finely. You should get a crumbly texture with some larger pieces mixed in.
Pour the crushed flakes into a deep bowl, add flour, sugar, and salt.
Mix well.
Gradually, in small portions, combine the liquid ingredients with the dry ones. Mix thoroughly each time until smooth.
Cover the dough with cling film and place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
After freezing, the dough becomes denser and more pliable. Form it into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Place the baking tray in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
Golden and crispy oatmeal cookies are ready.
