Like traditional Chinese baked goods, simple homemade cookies have:
- low calorie content;
- crispy structure;
- bright taste and aroma of roasted sesame.
But while Chinese cookies are quite complex to prepare, with all 28 steps required by hand, strictly adhering to the traditional ritual, our sesame cookies have a very simple recipe, and even an inexperienced homemaker or child can easily make them under adult guidance.

Sugar150 G

Flour100 G
-
Egg C12 pcs
-
Baking powder1 tsp
-
Vanilla sugar10 G

Salt1 pinch
Rub 150 grams of softened butter with 100 grams of sugar and a pinch of salt until smooth.
Add a packet of vanilla sugar (10 grams), as well as 2 eggs (use the white and yolk) and mix thoroughly.
Sift flour, previously mixed with baking powder, into the egg base and knead into a soft dough with a spatula.
Add sesame seeds and knead the mixture again, ensuring that the seeds are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
As a result, you should get a soft but elastic dough, as in the photo.
Carefully spoon the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment or silicone paper, forming circles of the desired diameter.
Bake the cookies in the oven at 180℃ for about 5-7 minutes.
During the baking process, the dough will spread and the cookies will increase in diameter.
Following our recipe step by step, remove the cookies from the oven when they are golden brown, as shown in the photo.
