The ingredients for this quick homemade cornbread recipe can be found in almost any kitchen, but if someone in the family is intolerant to wheat gluten, sesame flour can be an excellent substitute.

Rub 150 grams of softened butter with 100 grams of sugar and a pinch of salt until smooth.

Add a packet of vanilla sugar (10 grams), as well as 2 eggs (use the white and yolk) and mix thoroughly.

Instead of vanilla sugar, you can use a few drops of vanilla extract, natural vanilla or vanillin (on the tip of a knife).

Sift flour, previously mixed with baking powder, into the egg base and knead into a soft dough with a spatula.

Carefully spoon the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment or silicone paper, forming circles of the desired diameter.

If desired, you can additionally sprinkle flax seeds or black sesame seeds on top of each cookie.

Bake the cookies in the oven at 180℃ for about 5-7 minutes.

Please note! Baking time will vary depending on your oven's settings. Aim for the characteristic golden color that should appear as the bread bakes.

During the baking process, the dough will spread and the cookies will increase in diameter.
