Kefir donuts with yeast
Yeast donuts made with kefir are airy and delicious. The dough will be even more tender than if it were made with milk. You can use either dry or fresh yeast to create the base of this dessert, but the former is preferable because it allows the dough to rise more quickly.

Pour kefir into a bowl and add sugar, mix well until the crystals are completely dissolved.
Lightly beat the eggs with salt and add them to the kefir along with the vanilla and yeast. Mix until smooth. Then add the flour and begin kneading the dough with a whisk, then with your hands.
Add sunflower oil and knead the dough by hand for about 10 minutes until it becomes soft and pliable. It will stick to your hands, but that's okay. As the yeast rises, the dough will become firmer.
Cover the bowl with a plastic bag and leave it to rise in a warm place for 20-30 minutes, depending on how warm it is in your kitchen. To speed up the rising time, wrap the bowl with a towel. Don't leave it too long, or it will become too sour.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface. Dip a donut mold or glass in flour, then cut out circles. Use a bottle cap or a special cookie cutter to cut out the center. Use your hands to slightly widen the donuts.
Heat the sunflower oil and place a wooden spatula in the center. If bubbles form around the spatula, add the donuts. Fry them for a few minutes on each side. Once done, place them on paper towels to drain off any excess oil.
In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar with freshly squeezed lemon juice and drizzle over the donuts. Serve hot or warm for the best flavor.
Prepare and delight your loved ones with delicious desserts every day. Bon appétit!
