Place the sorrel in a saucepan over low heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. It's best to use a heavy-bottomed saucepan to prevent the herb from burning.
Cool the mixture and strain the syrup.
Squeeze the lemons to extract the juice. Then add it to the sorrel syrup. You can buy lemon juice, but freshly squeezed is best.
Dilute the tincture with water. You can use regular or sparkling water.
Serve the lemonade immediately after preparation with ice or put the drink in the refrigerator and wait for it to infuse.
