To bake a delicious chocolate fondant with a delicate liquid filling in the microwave, we will need:
- bowl for kneading dough;
- a classic whisk or a regular fork for kneading dough;
- strainer for sifting flour;
- baking pans (paper, silicone or ceramic);
- silicone brush for greasing molds;
We'll show you how to make a delicious individual dessert in a simple ceramic mug. Our chocolate fondant is ready in the microwave in just 5 minutes, so you can prepare this treat even when guests show up unexpectedly.
-
Wheat flour3 tbsp
-
Sugar (or powdered sugar)1 tbsp
-
Cocoa powder1 tbsp
-
Baking powder1 tsp
-
Vegetable oil1.5 tbsp
-
Milk5 tbsp
-
Dark chocolate20 G
-
Powdered sugar50 G
To mix the ingredients, use the same bowl you plan to microwave the fondant in (the dough should fill approximately 2/3 of the bowl). We'll be working in a wide ceramic bowl.
Sift 3 tablespoons of premium flour and pour into a mixing bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar.
We use regular fine granulated cane sugar, but you can replace it with an equal amount of powdered sugar if you prefer.
Add a little salt. This is an important step, as it brings out the chocolate's sweetness and flavor more vividly.
We recommend using fine salt, which will dissolve faster during kneading the dough.
Add 1 tablespoon of cocoa to the container.
It is best to use “dark” cocoa, then the taste will be brighter and richer, like real liquid chocolate.
Add 0.5 teaspoon of regular baking powder.
It is thanks to this ingredient that our fondant will rise a little in the mug while baking in the microwave and acquire a beautiful cap.
If you don't have baking powder at home, you can replace it with baking soda dissolved in vinegar, but in this case the dough may turn out tougher, and the liquid filling may acquire a characteristic flavor.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a cup to obtain a dry, homogeneous mixture.
Add 1.5 tablespoons of refined sunflower oil to the ingredients.
Also add 5 tablespoons of milk.
Please note! This recipe does not contain eggs, making it especially suitable for those who are concerned about this ingredient not being cooked sufficiently for safe use in fondant.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly until you get a homogeneous chocolate mass, as shown in the photo.
Our dough is ready!
Carefully place 3 pieces of chocolate in the very center of the dough, pressing the chocolate in slightly so that the dough covers it with a thin layer.
The next step is baking. As we mentioned earlier, we'll be making the fondant using the microwave.
Baking time: 1 minute!
If your microwave has a combination mode (microwave + grill), select it. If not, simply set it to maximum power. This is enough to melt the chocolate hidden inside the dough and create a delicious baked crust.
As with the oven, cooking time may vary. If your microwave isn't powerful enough and the crust isn't firm enough after 1 minute of baking, bake for an additional 30 seconds.
The fondant is ready!
Now you know how to make delicious individual chocolate fondant in the microwave. All that's left to do is decorate the dessert and enjoy its delicious flavor.
The simplest decoration option is to sprinkle with powdered sugar combined with a mint leaf, as in the photo.
Decorating individual fondant is a special art. This chocolate dessert pairs perfectly with a variety of accompaniments, thanks to its flavor:
