Wild apple jam for the winter in slices
Raw paradise apples don't have a particularly refined flavor. They are characterized by their tartness, firmness, and tartness, making them rarely eaten as a snack. However, when cooked in sugar syrup, paradise apples acquire a unique flavor and become a truly exquisite delicacy.

Cut the apples in half, remove the core, and cut into two more halves. Place in a suitable container and weigh.
Sprinkle the apple slices with sugar and mix well with a spatula. Let them sit for 8 hours to release their juices.
Add water and stir from the bottom up. This is necessary to break up the sugar that has settled at the bottom, which may have formed into a lump during steeping.
Place the pan over medium heat and stir the bottom every 10-15 minutes to allow any undissolved sugar to dissolve and prevent burning. Cook for 1 hour from the moment it boils.
When the apple slices become transparent, the jam is ready.
We pour the paradise apple jam into prepared jars and close for the winter.
