Apple-plum jam
This method for making apple-plum jam requires no cooking, no straining, no juicer, or no meat grinder. All you need is an oven and an immersion blender. The end result is a dense jam that's easy to slice.

Peel the apples and cut into random pieces. Remove the pits from the plums and cut them into desired sizes. Measure the fruit by net weight. Place in a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes.
Stir and check the apples for softness. If they fall apart when pressed with a spatula, remove them. If this doesn't happen and the apples are firm, cook for another 20-25 minutes.
Grind the hot fruit using an immersion blender.
Add sugar and stir. Simmer in the oven for 20 minutes.
The apple-plum jam is ready. Pour into sterilized jars and seal for the winter.
