Apple jam "Five minutes" with cinnamon
Despite the name, you'll need more than five minutes to prepare the jam, though not several days, as in classic recipes. Letting the apples sit and release their juices will give the preserve a much more vibrant and fruity flavor.

Cut the apples into not-too-thin slices and sprinkle with sugar. Don't try to make them too thin, otherwise they'll fall apart when cooked.
Let the apples sit at room temperature for 2 hours. It's okay to leave them overnight, though. During this time, the fruit will release a generous amount of juice. If this doesn't happen, add about 200-300 ml of water per serving.
Place the pan over low heat, bring to a boil, and simmer for 5 minutes. Let them cool for 2 hours.
Then repeat the process: bring the syrup to a boil and cook the apples for 5 minutes. Then let cool for 2 hours. Add the cinnamon.
Cook the jam for another 5 minutes and then seal it in boiling jars, previously sterilized.
The quick apple jam is ready. Delicate and marmalade-like, it will exceed all expectations.
