Preparation

Step 1

Peel, core, and slice the apples. Add a glass of water to the pan and cook until soft.

Step 2

Peel the orange and lemon zest, then remove the white part of the peel and discard it. Cut the pulp into pieces, remove all the seeds, and blend until smooth.

Step 3

Rub the cooled apples through a sieve to obtain a homogeneous puree.

Step 4

Add all the sugar, zest and citrus pulp to the applesauce.

Step 5

Cook for 25 minutes. You can cook the mixture longer, but then you'll get a dense jam instead of a soft one. Once it's cool, you'll need to cut it with a knife to serve.

Step 6

We roll the finished jam into sterilized jars and put it away.
