Peel the bananas. It's best to choose slightly green bananas for this recipe, as they'll retain their texture.
Next, cut the banana lengthwise to get 2 halves.
Sprinkle both sides of the bananas with sugar. You can use either cane or white sugar.
Heat a frying pan and add butter. To prevent it from burning, add a drop of vegetable oil.
Place the bananas in a frying pan and fry them for 2-3 minutes.
Next, turn the bananas over to the other side and fry them for 2-3 minutes.
Then we remove our bananas onto a plate.
Pour sugar into a frying pan with the oil left over from the bananas.
Pour the cream into the sugar and gently shake the pan. If you want a thinner caramel, add more cream. This way, you can adjust the sauce's consistency.
Add chopped nuts to the caramel if desired. When the sauce turns a caramel color, turn off the heat and pour the mixture over the bananas, sprinkling more nuts on top.
