Banana manna is a delicious dessert made from ordinary cereal.
Content
Like the vast majority of dishes, manna pudding does not have a single recipe. Every housewife has certain culinary tricks in her arsenal that lead to the creation of new recipes. But the dish does have a mandatory set of ingredients. The most important is semolina. It's what gives baked goods their distinctive flavor and inimitable aroma.
One of the most popular varieties of manna pudding is the banana version. This is no surprise, as this fruit contains almost all the vitamins we need, and is also delicious and nutrient-rich.
The most delicious manna pancakes
There are countless banana manna recipes, but we've selected the very best, which, once you try them, you'll undoubtedly add to your favorites collection.
On kefir
Mannik is very similar to a regular sponge cake, and to make it tasty and fluffy, you need to add some kind of milk starter to the dough. This recipe calls for the following ingredients:
- One glass of low-fat kefir
- A glass of granulated sugar
- A glass of semolina
- A glass of flour
- 2 medium chicken eggs
- Two bananas
- 80-100 g butter
- 1 teaspoon baking powder.
Place the semolina in a bowl, pour in the kefir, and let it sit for half an hour to plump up. Meanwhile, melt the butter. Then add it to the semolina. Add the eggs and sugar and stir.
Next, take the wheat flour and sift it to make the manna more tender. Then, mix the flour with the baking powder and add it to the remaining ingredients. After this, the dough needs to be thoroughly beaten. A mixer is ideal for this, but you can also use a whisk. This will require vigorous use.
Next, take our ripe, sweet bananas, peel them, and slice them. Pour half the batter into a baking dish, top with the sliced bananas, and pour the other half of the batter over them. It should have the consistency of thin sour cream. Bake the manna cake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 50 minutes.
Unusual dough
This original recipe calls for making the mannik without flour, which makes the sponge cake very unique, yet still tender and delicious. What's more, it doesn't even require eggs! For this baked good, you'll need:
- 2 good ripe bananas
- half a glass of kefir
- two glasses of semolina
- a glass of sugar
- half a teaspoon of soda
- a pinch of vanillin.
As in the previous recipe, we begin preparing the semolina sponge cake: pour kefir over it and let it swell. Then add sugar, vanilla, and baking soda. It's important not to extinguish the baking soda. It's best to use low-fat kefir. Next, follow the instructions in the recipe above: mix everything thoroughly, pour half the batter into a prepared pan (you can grease it and sprinkle it with semolina beforehand), add bananas, cut into whatever shape you like, and top with the other half of the batter. Bake the semolina sponge cake in the oven for about 40 minutes.
Cream
There are even more variations of cream than manna cake recipes, but whipped cream pairs best with this dish. Here's a simple recipe for this cream: take a cup of good-quality heavy cream, add 3 tablespoons of sugar, and beat thoroughly with a mixer until stiff and fluffy. Carefully coat the manna cake with this cream. Incidentally, to give the cream a delicate coffee aroma, simply add 50 grams of coffee beans and refrigerate overnight.
As you can see, the recipe for a tender and delicious sponge cake is even simpler than you thought, and requires a minimum of ingredients and time.
